The Nanaimo Regional General Hospital has a General Rehabilitation Unit. This inpatient unit sees patients with a variety of conditions including stroke, complex orthopaedic conditions, complex medical/surgical conditions, complex neuromuscular conditions and amputations.
A doctor’s referral is required and patients must meet the admission guidelines for each program.
